The Great Apes Gallery is a two-level circular space with views into two separate (but seemingly contiguous) gorilla habitats. An interpretive console at the lower level and upper level exhibits explore many topics, including gorilla behavior and biology, primate relationships, the history of mountain gorilla study and conservation, and includes four CD ROM stations where visitors can play at "Creating a Gorilla Reserve."
